Properties:

Additionally, Kozani saffron is used in pharmaceuticals, confectionery, cooking, dairy products, pasta-making, distilling, and even painting. Byzantine painters often used it. Origin: Greece, Kozani region (cultivated).
Storage: Store in a cool (5°C – 15°C) and dark place.
Preparation:
Add 3-4 saffron stigmas to 1 glass of boiling water to steep, let sit for 5-10 minutes, then strain before use.
