Activated carbon is a 100% natural product that is considered to have great absorption and detoxification capacity, boosting the immune system and boosting overall health.

Activated carbon has the ability to retain chemicals and toxins due to its absorbency. It is believed that when it remains in the intestinal tract, it can absorb all the harmful substances that pass into the body from food, such as e.g. pesticides or other toxic bacteria. Therefore, it is considered to regulate the intestine and its health, treating intestinal and digestive disorders.

Therefore, the positive properties of activated carbon are observed in the digestive tract, binding toxic substances from digestion to elimination. It also helps reduce excessive flatulence - bloating after eating. Its positive effect is achieved by consuming 1g of activated carbon 30 minutes (at least) before the meal and 1g immediately after the meal.

Activated carbon powder of Herbstore.gr is produced from the shell of sustainable coconuts, which have been steamed to remove any contaminants. The carbon black powder is odorless and tasteless.

In addition to the mouth, activated carbon can be applied directly to the teeth or skin, acting in any case as a "sponge" that captures and cleans from all kinds of stains, such as from coffee, tea etc.

Activated carbon also has the important property of being able to absorb thousands of times its weight in heavy metals, toxins, poisons and other chemicals. Use:

Adults - Children over 12 years: 1 teaspoon in a glass of water and swallow immediately. Rinse with water to remove any residue.

For the teeth: Put a small amount of carbon powder in your hand, wet the toothbrush and press on the powder. Brush gently for 2 minutes. Brush again with water or toothpaste until any residue is removed.

Note: If you are taking a pill or other vitamin along with activated charcoal, it is more likely to block their absorption. It is therefore recommended to be taken away from taking vitamins or medications, such as at night.
