The Clove Tincture is made by soaking the "cloves" of the clove plant in an alcoholic solution (grappa) for a period of 4-6 weeks. During this time, the active ingredients of the herb dissolve into the alcoholic solution, resulting in the tincture.

The Clove Tincture (Eugenia caryophyllata) is derived from the processing of the aromatic plant of the same name, which thrives in Asian countries. It is used as an antimicrobial, antifungal, antiseptic, aphrodisiac, and a general mental and emotional tonic and revitalizer. It is also utilized for sinusitis, measles, toothaches, colic, muscle pain, nausea, neuralgia, pleurisy, rheumatic pain, acne, asthma, bronchitis, diarrhea, sprains, and dyspepsia.

Tinctures preserve all the active ingredients of the herb, are very easy to take, and are completely natural. They undoubtedly have advantages over dietary supplements in pill form, as they contain no chemicals or preservatives and are absorbed much more effectively by the body.

Herbal tinctures are very potent, and for this reason, they should be consumed according to the provided instructions. The usual dosage is 0.5-1ml (approximately 10-20 drops) per day. They should not be consumed during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
