The tincture blend for stomach disorders is made by soaking the aforementioned herbs in an alcoholic solution (grappa) for a period of 4-6 weeks. During this time, the active ingredients of the herbs dissolve into the alcoholic solution, resulting in the tincture.
Stomach disorders are prevalent in our country. Recent studies show that 4 out of 10 Greeks suffer from gastroesophageal reflux syndrome. The primary cause is considered to be the change in the traditional Greek diet and the adoption of Northern European dietary habits. Obesity, increased alcohol consumption, smoking, and similar factors also contribute to the rise in stomach disorders.
Stomach Relief supports the body in preventing and addressing the unpleasant consequences of stomach disorders, always within the framework of a balanced diet. It contains Dittany, Mastic from Chios, Calendula, and Dandelion.
Dittany is primarily used for addressing stomach disorders. Its intake stimulates the salivary glands and stomach fluid production, thus addressing issues like dyspepsia, gastritis, bloating, heartburn, aerophagia, and sourness. It is believed to combat intestinal parasites and has mild diuretic properties. Calendula is considered an excellent herb for ulcers, gastritis, and gastrointestinal infections. It acts as a powerful natural digestive aid and is reputed to be effective against intense pain and cramps during menstruation, likely due to its antispasmodic properties. Dandelion is known for its detoxifying benefits, effectively cleansing the blood and tissues of harmful toxins. The herb appears to have strong antibacterial action and, according to herbalists, may be effective against potent bacteria (in cases of pneumonia, diphtheria, staphylococcus, etc.). As a "cleanser" of the body, it is very beneficial for stomach disorders. Finally, Mastic from Chios is excellent for stomach-related issues and helps with irritable bowel syndrome.
Herbal tinctures retain all the active ingredients of the herbs, are particularly simple to take, and are completely natural. They undoubtedly have advantages over dietary supplements in pill form, as they do not contain chemicals or preservatives and are absorbed much more effectively by the body.
Herbal tinctures are highly potent, and therefore must be consumed according to their guidelines. The usual dosage is 0.5-1ml (approximately 10-20 drops per day). They should not be consumed during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
The Tincture Blend for Stomach Disorders is prepared in Greece under the strictest European standards and with exclusive use of pure and tested raw materials.
