Mango Butter is derived from the processing of the seeds of the Mangifera Indica plant, commonly known as mango. This exotic fruit is widely cultivated, with global production exceeding 39 million tons. The name is thought to originate from the Indian word māṅgai (in Tamil).
Mango Butter has a composition similar to Shea Butter, particularly in terms of its fatty acids. Stearic (Stearic Acid) and oleic (Oleic Acid) acids account for 80-85% of its total composition. This makes Mango Butter ideal for the care of dry, damaged, or "rough" skin. It is believed to have antioxidant properties, containing vitamins A, C, and E, which makes it useful for combating wrinkles and addressing premature aging of the skin. It is also particularly beneficial for skin care after sun exposure, and for treating minor cuts, burns, insect bites, and general skin issues.
Mango Butter is "solid" at room temperature. However, it "melts" immediately upon contact with the skin, providing deep and effective hydration right away. When used in soap making, Mango Butter is an excellent product that imparts softness to the skin.
The Mango Butter offered by Herbstore.gr is 100% pure and contains no chemicals.
