Packaging: 50ml containing Calamus Tincture (Acorus).
(The price includes VAT.)
The Calamus tincture is made by soaking the leaves of Acorus in an alcoholic solution (grappa) for a period of 4-6 weeks. During this time, the active ingredients from the herb dissolve into the alcoholic solution, resulting in the tincture.
The Calamus tincture (Acorus calamus) contains the same active ingredients as the dried Acorus herb. In modern herbal medicine, Calamus is primarily used for addressing stomach disorders. Its intake stimulates the salivary glands and the production of gastric fluids, helping to resolve a range of issues such as dyspepsia, gastritis, bloating, heartburn, aerophagia, and sour stomach. It is believed to combat intestinal parasites and has diuretic properties.
Properties:
- Stimulates digestion
- Alleviates dyspeptic symptoms
- Helps with gastrointestinal disorders
Tinctures retain all the active ingredients of the herb, are particularly easy to take, and are completely natural. They undoubtedly surpass dietary supplements in pill form, as they do not contain chemicals or preservatives and are absorbed much more effectively by the body.
Herbal tinctures are very potent, so they should be consumed according to their instructions. The usual dosage is 0.5-1ml (approximately 10-20 drops per day). They should not be consumed during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
The Calamus tincture is made in Greece under the strictest European regulations, using only pure and tested raw materials.
