Properties:
● Antispasmodic.
● Antitussive.
● Emmenagogue.
● Relieves colic and intestinal tension.
● Acts as an antispasmodic in cases of severe cough.
● Regulates the menstrual cycle, especially when menstruation has been interrupted.
● Stimulates the uterine muscles, causing menstruation and acting as a contraceptive, potentially inducing abortion.

WARNING! Continuous use for more than 3 days is not recommended, as it may affect the central nervous system and cause fainting, poisoning, and diarrhea. Use is prohibited for pregnant women as it may lead to abortion!

Origin: Greece, Imathia region (cultivated).

Storage: Store in a cool (5°C – 15°C) and dark place.

Preparation:
Add 1 tablespoon of ground rue (or a pinch of unground) to 1 glass of boiling water in a covered container, let steep for 10-15 minutes, then strain before use.
