Organic Oregano Essential Oil comes from the plant Origanum onites. This essential oil is obtained through steam distillation of the leaves of this specific plant, which differs from common oregano. It has a strong characteristic aroma and is often referred to as oregano oil. The oil contains compounds such as carvacrol (85%) and thymol (2.89%), which provide it with microbicidal properties.

Organic Oregano Essential Oil is primarily used in aromatherapy to combat respiratory issues like asthma, bronchitis, and coughs, as well as in managing diabetes (2-3 drops of the essential oil can be added to a drink made with wormwood, valerian, marshmallow, hibiscus, stevia, ginger, or even water). It is also well-known for its strong antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, and antiparasitic effects. When blended with a carrier oil (such as sea buckthorn, wild rose, jojoba, or argan oil), it can help with psoriasis issues.

Combines very well with: Thyme, Eucalyptus, Lavender, Pine, and Tea Tree.
