The essential oil of Lavender is a 100% natural oil produced from the flowers of genuine Lavender, which are cultivated organically in selected mountainous areas of Veria. It is obtained through the distillation of the flowers from the Lavandula angustifolia var. Hemus variety and has a sweet, fresh aroma with a medium aromatic note.

Lavender essential oil has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, soothing insect bites, burns, sinusitis, skin irritations, and headaches. It is also used in aromatherapy to provide physical and mental relaxation and well-being. It helps combat anxiety, nervousness, insomnia, hyperactivity, and muscle tension. Clinical studies have shown that lavender oil can be used as a mild sedative, significantly increasing actual sleep time by an average of 69 minutes. At the same time, it improves sleep quality, allowing the body to feel truly rested upon waking.

Suggested uses:

• For insomnia, add 4-5 drops to an oil burner, or place 2-3 drops in the corner of your pillow.
• For relaxation and rejuvenation, add 10 drops to your bathtub.
• For skin problems, mix 2 drops with 10ml of almond oil and gently apply with a cotton ball to the affected area.
• For a pleasant scent in clothes and to protect wool from moths, just a few drops in wardrobes or drawers will suffice.

Lavender essential oil blends well with: Lemon, St. John's Wort, Geranium, Melissa, Rosemary, and Pine.
