Juniper berry or wild cypresss, scientific name Juniperus Communis, is a coniferous plant of the Cypress family with over 60 species of aromatic evergreen trees or shrubs. A plant native to Greece, it is also known as juniper.

In Cyprus it is called invisible. The juniper berry was considered for centuries as excellent antiseptic, as it was used as a cleanser and disinfectant by the servants of castles and farmhouses.

Juniper Berry essential oil comes from the steam distillation of the plant seeds and has a fresh, balsamic, woody and peppery aroma. Juniper Berry essential oil by  Herbstore.gr has remarkable healing properties.
