Bamboo is a strong and durable material that is completely biodegradable in this form. The stainless steel is highly resilient and 100% infinitely recyclable.

As this thermos is made from 100% sustainably sourced bamboo with stainless steel insulation, it is reusable, and at the end of its life, the bamboo can be composted or recycled with the stainless steel.

The stainless steel finish prevents toxins from leaching into your drinks. Even if discarded improperly, it won’t release toxins into the environment.

The design minimizes the weight while maintaining durability, though the cap and base contain recyclable plastic and rubber, which slightly reduce the sustainability rating. There is also a rubber pad on the base for better grip and synthetic materials to prevent leaks and enhance insulation.

Sustainability of Bamboo & Steel:
Bamboo is one of the fastest-growing plants and very easily renewable, requiring only cutting the stalks without digging up the roots for regrowth. Bamboo improves soil quality, reduces erosion, produces oxygen, and absorbs more CO₂ than similar plants.

The harvesting and processing of bamboo is highly sustainable, making it exceptionally strong and durable. It is harder than hardwood, with tensile strength surpassing steel (28,000 PSI compared to steel's 23,000 PSI).

When not chemically processed, bamboo is fully recyclable and 100% biodegradable.

Stainless steel has a more complex manufacturing process, but it results in a highly durable and infinitely recyclable final product. Approximately 80% of produced stainless steel is made from around 70% recycled materials, significantly reducing environmental impact.
