Dandelion Oil, like all our carrier oils, is made with extra virgin olive oil processed with our fresh herbs. Research has shown that when carrier oils are made with fresh herbs (like ours), they deliver 100% of their potential properties, unlike commercial oils made with dried herbs that yield only about 50%!
Dandelion Oil is used in its edible form (1-2 tablespoons daily) for the regeneration of new tissues in the liver (especially in conjunction with artichoke oil and milk thistle oil). It is considered one of the best diuretics due to its high potassium levels! It reduces uric acid, combats fluid retention during premenstrual syndrome, and helps with hypertension while pleasantly toning the body. It is effective against inflammation, especially for respiratory conditions, and serves as an excellent cough remedy. Additionally, it lowers cholesterol and triglycerides while alleviating stomach disturbances.
It has detoxifying properties and supports the body’s health! It addresses menopausal hot flashes, aids in detoxifying the liver and gallbladder, acts as a fat burner, balances bile, and lubricates the intestinal tract. It helps treat gallstones, cleanses the blood, stimulates kidney function, and assists in blood sugar control for diabetics. It prevents glandular swellings by regulating glands and supporting their proper function. It is anti-rheumatic and excellent for treating arthritis and chronic rheumatism, enhancing calcium prevention. It is also effective for eczema, warts, chronic dermatitis, acne, itching, and combats the herpes virus. It aids in food digestion and is believed to help with obesity, constipation, anxiety, and insomnia.
Furthermore, Dandelion Oil is rich in carbohydrates, dietary fiber, proteins, and minerals such as iron, potassium, magnesium, manganese, sulfur, sodium, and zinc. It also contains vitamins A, B (including niacin, riboflavin, thiamine, folic acid), vitamin C, and vitamins D, E & K, as well as flavonoids and carotenoids.
Dandelion Oil can be used alone or in combination with other carrier oils for even better results. It’s also important to note that carrier oils are essential in aromatherapy as they serve as the "carrier" for essential oils.
