Rice bran oil, like all our carrier oils, is made with extra virgin olive oil processed with our fresh herbs. Research has shown that when carrier oils are made with fresh herbs (like ours), they deliver 100% of their potential properties, unlike commercial oils made with dried herbs that yield only about 50%!

Rice Bran Oil is derived from the seeds of the plant Oryza Sativa, known as Asian rice. It is considered the "secret of youth" for women in Japan—often referred to as "Rice Bran Beauties."

Rice bran oil is a "light" oil particularly rich in vitamin E and the complex compound gamma-oryzanol. This compound is believed to have numerous beneficial properties for the skin, including the ability to protect skin lipids from oxidation, prevent the appearance of freckles, and protect against dark spots. Gamma-oryzanol dissolves in the oil, allowing it to penetrate the skin easily, nourishing and toning it while improving local blood circulation.
