Evening primrose is a well-known medicinal plant that is also popular as a garden plant. Its slightly golden flowers bloom only in the evening. The evening primrose oil is a slightly yellow-green oil with a strong aroma.

Organic Evening Primrose Oil has a very high content of linoleic acid and contains the rare gamma-linolenic acid.

In cosmetics, its exceptional composition of fatty acids is used to treat dry and infected skin and to soothe psoriasis and neurodermatitis. Additionally, it has established itself as a treatment for mature skin and as a facial oil. Due to its short shelf life, evening primrose oil is often mixed with more stable cosmetic oils for external applications.
