The tincture mixture for urinary system problems is derived from the infusion of the aforementioned herbs in an alcoholic solution (grappa) for a period of 4-6 weeks. During this time, the active ingredients of the herbs dissolve in the alcoholic solution, resulting in the tincture.
The urinary system is particularly sensitive and often suffers from infections, inflammations, and conditions (e.g., cystitis) caused by the growth of bacteria in the urinary tract.
Bladder Relief aids in cleansing the urinary tract. It contains Micromeria juliana, Equisetum arvense, Quackgrass (Elymus repens), and Nettle.
Micromeria juliana is considered one of the best antiseptics and disinfectants for the urinary system. According to herbalists, it disinfects the entire urinary system while slightly increasing urine production. It is deemed suitable for treating cystitis and combating urinary infections, and it may also help with prostate issues and kidney stones. Equisetum arvense is regarded as one of the best "natural antibiotics." Herbalists note that all parts of the plant contain substances (glycosides) with antibacterial, antifungal, and antibiotic properties. For this reason, Equisetum arvense is primarily used for urinary infections and skin disorders. In these cases, it is believed to play a significant role in alleviating symptoms by "cleansing" the urinary system and combating skin infections. Many herbalists highlight that the main advantage of "plant antibiotics" is that they usually do not cause allergies and do not disrupt intestinal flora. Quackgrass acts as a mild diuretic and promotes the loss of water from the body without disturbing electrolytes, making it an excellent herb for treating urinary inflammations. Additionally, it is believed to relieve back pain associated with these infections. Finally, Nettle is also a very diuretic herb, effective for urinary infections, kidney stones, and prostate issues.
Tinctures retain all the active ingredients of the herb, are particularly easy to take, and are entirely natural. They undeniably surpass dietary supplements in pill form, as they do not contain chemicals or preservatives and are absorbed much more effectively by the body.
Herbal tinctures are highly potent and should be consumed according to the recommended guidelines. The usual dosage is 0.5-1ml (approximately 10-20 drops per day). They should not be consumed during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
