The tincture blend for hemorrhoids is derived from soaking the aforementioned herbs in an alcoholic solution (grappa) for a period of 4-6 weeks. During this time, the active ingredients of the herbs dissolve into the alcoholic solution, resulting in the tincture.

Hemorrhoids (external or internal) can be caused by various factors, such as a low-fiber diet, a sedentary lifestyle, chronic constipation (or diarrhea), pregnancy, or even heredity. Symptoms also vary—from severe pain and bleeding to mucus discharge, itching, or local relaxation.

The Hemorrhoid Relief supports the body in dealing with the effects of hemorrhoids. It contains St. John's Wort, Yarrow, Calendula, and Common Germander.

Yarrow is known to be effective for treating bleeding. Its action is believed to result from its ability to constrict blood vessels, returning them to their normal size, making it particularly effective for hemorrhoids. Calendula has been used for many years to treat hemorrhoids, as it possesses strong healing and astringent properties. Its hemostatic action alleviates hemorrhoids by effectively addressing both internal and external bleeding. St. John's Wort has been known since ancient times for healing wounds and burns, providing pain relief (analgesic) and soothing inflammation (anti-inflammatory). It is considered astringent and effective in addressing bleeding, a property also exhibited by Common Germander.

Herbal tinctures are highly potent, and therefore should be taken according to the instructions. The usual dosage is 0.5-1ml (approximately 10-20 drops per day). They should not be consumed during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
