Macadamia Oil is produced from the king of nuts, the macadamia. This slightly yellow oil has the characteristic flavor of the nut.
It has a high content of palmitoleic acid, a fatty acid found only in animal fats.
In cosmetics, the high content of palmitoleic acid is highly valued, making macadamia oil perfectly compatible with the skin. It is also an excellent massage oil due to its high oleic acid content, leaving the skin smooth and soft.
The nutritional properties of macadamia oil were confirmed in a cosmetic study by Hauck R & D GmbH in October 2015. The results are available from us.
Organic Macadamia Oil is a very light edible oil that is ideal for salads, desserts, as well as for cooking and baking.
The Macadamia Oil comes from the seeds of the plant Macadamia Ternifolia, which resemble the well-known hazelnuts. Macadamia oil has very high moisturizing properties and is ideal for mature and "damaged" skin. It is easily and quickly absorbed by the skin due to its similarity to the skin's fatty acids. It has a natural sun protection factor of 3-4. It acts against free radicals, positively affecting skin metabolism. Its high content of Omega-7 makes it ideal for facial care. It is rich in vitamins (A, B1, B2, B3, C, and E), minerals (iron, magnesium), and proteins.
Macadamia Oil can be blended at a ratio of 10-20% with other carrier oils for massage products or used in lotions, lip balms, moisturizers, and hair care products. Use it alone or in combination with essential oils.
Organic Macadamia Oil is used either alone or in combination with other carrier oils for even better results. Finally, it’s important to know that carrier oils are essential in aromatherapy as they serve as the "carrier" for essential oils.
