Fractionated Coconut Oil is a lightweight oil with unique characteristics derived from the plant Cocos Nucifera. It is of much higher quality than regular coconut oil (from unrefined sources). It is used for massage (typically mixed with almond oil) and as a bath oil or natural antiseptic. It helps restore the skin's natural pH and does not clog pores. It contains vitamins A, B, E, and minerals such as phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, and iron. Although it is compatible with all skin types because it closely resembles human subcutaneous tissue, it is typically used for oily skin.

Coconut Oil is an ideal ingredient for cosmetic products for facial and hair care, lip balms, body butters, and naturally for soaps (which adds lather and hardness to the final product). Use it alone or in combination with essential oils.

Coconut Oil can be used either on its own or in combination with other base oils for even better results. Additionally, it is important to know that base oils are essential in aromatherapy as they serve as the "carrier" for adding essential oils.
