The fruit originates from the Kalahari and Sahara deserts, where it has been a primary source of water for centuries. Its systematic cultivation began over 3,000 years ago in Africa, the Middle East, and Western Asia, and the production of the oil has been known since ancient Egyptians used it as a cosmetic.
The main benefits of this oil are its exceptional moisturizing and skin care properties. The oil contains up to 70% fatty acids such as linoleic acid and is particularly rich in Vitamin E.
