Avocado Butter is derived from the processing of the "flesh" of the fruits of the Persea americana plant, known as avocado. Avocado fruits have been used for dietary purposes since ancient times, with evidence suggesting that in Central and South America, avocados were part of the local population's diet as far back as 10,000 BC. The name comes from the word ahuácatl (in Nahuatl, the language of the Aztecs), which was translated by the Spanish to aguacate and later adapted to avocado by English speakers.

Avocado Butter is particularly rich in vitamins and trace elements. Analyses have shown that it contains vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, as well as vitamins A, E, and C. It also contains calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, and zinc. These rich ingredients make Avocado Butter a true "food" for the skin, imparting radiance and vitality. It is quickly and easily absorbed by the skin (when used in small amounts) and is considered ideal for dry skin and combination skin with dry areas. Avocado Butter is also used for treating hair that shows dryness and loss of shine. A small amount of Avocado Butter before washing can hydrate and soften the hair.

Avocado Butter is "solid" (but soft) at room temperature. However, it "melts" immediately upon contact with the skin, providing deep and effective hydration right away. When used in soap making, Avocado Butter is an excellent product that produces a rich, moisturizing lather.
