The Ginkgo Biloba tincture is made by soaking the Ginkgo Biloba leaves in an alcoholic solution (grappa) for a period of 4-6 weeks. During this time, the active ingredients of the plant dissolve into the alcoholic solution, resulting in the tincture.
The Ginkgo Biloba Tincture contains the same active ingredients as the dried Ginkgo Biloba herb. In modern herbal therapy, Ginkgo is used to address various conditions, and for good reason. One of the most significant properties of Ginkgo is its ability to improve blood circulation throughout the body, significantly aiding the oxygenation of blood vessels. This crucial action has multiple benefits for the organism.
Improved oxygenation of the brain (which consumes 20% of total oxygen) helps address issues such as memory loss, difficulty concentrating, and cognitive dysfunctions primarily associated with aging, including Alzheimer’s disease.
Better blood circulation is especially important for heart function and arterial elasticity. Ginkgo Biloba acts catalytically against PAF (platelet activation factor), which promotes blood clots and cholesterol buildup, leading to arteriosclerosis. It effectively addresses the phenomenon of "cold extremities" by restoring blood circulation to the hands and feet. Additionally, Ginkgo is referred to as "nature’s Viagra" as it aids in better blood flow to the genital organs and helps address erectile dysfunction.
Ginkgo (Ginkgo Biloba) exhibits very strong antioxidant properties. The ginkgolides it contains have been shown to effectively combat infections and allergies, as well as asthma attacks and toxic shock.
Lastly, Ginkgo Biloba is known for its anti-aging properties. Its antioxidant action combats free radicals, which are responsible for premature aging.
Herbal tinctures retain all the active ingredients of the plant, are particularly easy to take, and are entirely natural. They undoubtedly surpass dietary supplements in pill form, as they contain no chemicals or preservatives and are absorbed much more effectively by the body.
Herbal tinctures are very potent and should be consumed according to the provided instructions. The usual dosage is 0.5-1ml (approximately 10-20 drops per day). It should not be consumed during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
