The Bay Leaf tincture is derived from the immersion of the leaves and fruits of the bay tree in an alcoholic solution (grappa) for a period of 4-6 weeks. During this time, the active ingredients of the herbs dissolve into the alcoholic solution, resulting in the creation of the tincture.

Bay leaves are attributed with many beneficial properties related to respiratory disorders, soothing joint pain and itching, calming for the stomach, diuretic, sweat-inducing, antispasmodic, and emmenagogue effects. Additionally, bay helps with the digestion of plant proteins primarily found in legumes.
