The tincture of Oats is derived from soaking the seeds of oats in an alcoholic solution (grappa) for a period of 4-6 weeks. During this time, the active ingredients dissolve into the alcoholic solution, resulting in the tincture.
Properties:
- Anxiety Relief: Contains sterols like beta-sitosterol and alkaloids such as gramine and avenine, which have been found to exert anti-anxiety effects. It provides a relaxing influence on chronic anxiety conditions.
- Fatigue: Considered an excellent nutritional aid for any state of weakness and exhaustion, particularly useful for the nervous system during recovery from illnesses.
- Cholesterol Reduction: Recent studies attribute cholesterol-lowering effects to water-soluble polysaccharides, particularly beta-glucans.
- Potential Applications: Useful for anxiety, nervousness, insomnia, depression, recovery, herpes, shingles, and cardiovascular disorders. It also aids in digestive health, treating constipation, and has aphrodisiac properties.
The tincture retains all the active ingredients of the herb, is easy to take, and completely natural. It is undoubtedly superior to dietary supplements in pill form, as it contains no chemicals or preservatives and is absorbed more effectively by the body.
