Epsom Salts are named after the English town of Epsom (Surrey), where they were first extracted through distillation of local spring water. Known as Magnesium Sulfate, they are traditionally used for treating tired feet. Epsom Salts are absorbed through the skin, combating skin irritations and fungal infections. Rich in Magnesium, they are believed to reduce swelling and remove toxins from the skin. You can also use them to create your own bath products.
