Cypress is the common name for the plant Cupressus Sempervirens. The essential oil is obtained through steam distillation of its shoots and needles, featuring a spicy, herbal, fresh, and clean aroma.

Cypress essential oil is used in aromatherapy as an anxiolytic, calming agent, astringent, tonic, hemostatic, revitalizing, antiseptic, antispasmodic, and detoxifying. It is also utilized for asthma, cough, bronchitis, gynecological issues, shortness of breath, varicose veins, cellulite, oily hair and skin, nervous weakness, rheumatic and muscular pains, localized fat, and phlebitis.
