Coriander (Coriander Seed) comes from the plant with the common name Coriandum Sativum. Coriander essential oil comes from steam distillation of its seeds and has a spicy and warm aroma.

Coriander essential oil is used in aromatherapy as an analgesic, antiseptic, antispasmodic, detoxifying, aphrodisiac, sedative, warming, fat dissolving, tonic and digestive. It is also beneficial for allergic or irritated skin types, arthritic and muscle aches, insomnia, migraines, colds and increased stress.

The ingredients of Coriander essential oil also have medicinal properties. It has strong antiparasitic, bactericidal and virulent action. Especially against the flu and cystitis caused by bacteria, its application and rubbing are recommended. In addition, the production of gastric juices is stimulated by the essential oil, thus stimulating the appetite. It is also antispasmodic and digestive. Coatings, patches, bath oils and massages treat indigestion, enterocolitis, excessive air consumption and atony in the intestinal system. Coriander essential oil also has analgesic effects on arthritis. The application with abrasions or oil is especially recommended.

In aromatherapy, Coriander essential oil is used to stimulate creative activity. It can cure mental fatigue, which is often associated with increased nervousness, migraine and anxiety. As an application, bath oils, rubs and massages are recommended. The smell of Coriander essential oil has a warming effect and is therefore particularly suitable for cold seasons.

Coriander essential oil is very well combined with: clary sage, ginger, bergamot, cypress, pine, jasmine, frankincense, neroli, citronella, sandalwood.
