The essential oil of Geranium is derived from the well-known ornamental plant (Pelargonium Graveolens), commonly found in many Greek gardens. It is usually chosen for its resilience and strong aroma. Besides its ornamental use, Geranium has significant therapeutic properties. The essential oil is extracted from the flowers and leaves, producing a vibrant aroma with a medium scent note.

Geranium essential oil is used in aromatherapy for emotional and hormonal balance and stress reduction. It also possesses strong astringent, antibacterial, and antimicrobial properties. A few drops of the essential oil can help address various dermatological issues such as acne, blemishes, oiliness, wrinkles, wounds, bruises, and swellings.

Geranium stimulates blood circulation, the lymphatic system, and adrenal function. Cellulite, fluid retention, premature sagging, and health issues related to poor circulation can improve with regular massages, adding a few drops of geranium to the massage oil.
