Verbena is a perennial plant that blooms in winter in southeastern Spain (Alicante, Murcia, Almería) at altitudes between 10-500 meters above sea level. The plant is harvested in winter for the extraction of its essential oil, while the leaves are collected in spring as food seasoning.

Main Components: Citral, Thymol, Carvacrol, Borneol, Linalool

Aromatic Notes: Citrus, fresh, lemon, herbal

Uses:

• Relieves stomach cramps, dyspepsia, and liver congestion
• Soothes discomfort, muscle pain, and headaches
• Helps alleviate cold and flu symptoms
• Tightens the skin and has anti-aging effects
• Repels insects
• Improves blood circulation

Properties: Tonic, Revitalizing, Antiseptic, Calming, Anti-seborrheic, Antispasmodic, Anti-rheumatic

Max Skin Usage: 0.85% for leave-on body and face products, and 7.12% for rinse-off applications.

Verbena essential oil combines well with: Neroli, Sandalwood, Geranium, Lavender, Rose, Bergamot, and Patchouli.

Caution! Verbena essential oil may cause skin sensitization. Not suitable for pregnant women, individuals with high blood pressure, or epilepsy.
