St. John’s Wort comes from the plant known as Hypericum Perforatum.

St. John’s Wort is considered, along with olive oil and wine, one of the three blessed liquids of the Christian faith. The essential oil of Balm is extracted through steam distillation and has an aroma reminiscent of vanilla.

St. John’s Wort Essential Oil is used in aromatherapy for respiratory issues such as bronchitis, asthma, laryngitis, colds, and flu, as well as for eczema, irritated skin, and anxiety or nervous disorders.

St. John’s Wort Essential Oil blends well with: Jasmine, Lavender, Organic Lavender, Rose, Rose Absolute, Melissa, Eucalyptus, Organic Eucalyptus, Oregano, Organic Oregano, Organic Mint, and Mint.

Caution! Not recommended during the first three months of pregnancy, and it should be noted that it is quite viscous!
