Tea Tree essential oil emits an earthy, fresh, woody aroma with a medium fragrance note. It is extracted by steam distillation from the branches and leaves of the tree scientifically known as Melaleuca Alternifolia, native to the southeastern region of Australia.

It is said that when Mother Nature creates diseases, she also creates the remedy. The presence of bacteria, microbes, viruses, and fungi is heightened in tropical areas, where many medicinal plants are found. The Tea Tree is one such plant, whose therapeutic value has been known for thousands of years among the indigenous people of this continent, who faced severe bacterial infections in tropical regions. Its components (such as sabinene, myrcene, terpinene, cineole, terpinolene, cumene, linalool, terpineol, etc.) have made it globally renowned today, as scientific research has proven its effectiveness in treating various diseases.

Tea Tree can heal external infections from skin wounds and internal bacterial infections such as those of the colon, stomach, intestines, urinary, and excretory systems. Viral infections (such as flu) cannot be treated with antibiotics because viruses develop a protective shell called a cyst, allowing them to survive even after the action of the pharmaceutical substance. Tea Tree essential oil causes the rupture of this cyst, thereby healing diseases like the common cold, flu, mumps, measles, smallpox, etc.

Additionally, it serves as an excellent antiseptic for wound healing. It is also effective against fungal infections as it inhibits fungal growth. Furthermore, it is great for oily skin problems, burns, lice, and insect bites.

Tea Tree essential oil has relaxing properties that generally enhance health. It helps in the absorption of nutrients from food and provides protection against infectious diseases.

In addition to infections, another cause of morbidity is the accumulation of toxins. The body expels toxins through sweating. Tea Tree essential oil increases perspiration and promotes the elimination of salts and toxins, such as uric acid, while simultaneously cleansing skin pores and reducing the appearance of dermatological issues, such as acne. Suggested Uses:

• For respiratory issues (colds, viruses, coughs, etc.), boil water in a pot, add a few drops while boiling, remove from heat, and inhale for 10-15 minutes. Alternatively, add a drop or two to a warm towel and inhale.
• For acne treatment, apply one drop on a damp cotton ball gently on the blemishes. This method can also be used for hangnails.
• For dry scalp and dandruff, add 3-4 drops to your shampoo bottle.
• For household cleaning and as a natural antiseptic, add 20 drops or 10 drops of Tea Tree and 10 drops of lemon to 100ml of water.
• For nail fungus: Soak your feet in a bowl of water with 5 drops of Tea Tree or apply one drop directly on the nail.
• For dandruff and oily hair: Add 15 drops of Tea Tree and 15 drops of cedar to 100ml of carrier oil (such as argan oil, laurel oil, rosemary oil, or jojoba oil) and massage into the scalp.
• For sore throat: Dissolve one drop of Tea Tree in water and gargle.

Tea Tree essential oil blends well with: Thyme, Oregano, Cinnamon, Clove, Lavender, Grapefruit, Eucalyptus, Lemon, Orange, Mandarin, Rosemary, Sage, and Mint.
