Neroli, famously referred to as the "scent of paradise," is derived from the flowers of the plant scientifically known as Citrus Aurantium, commonly known as the bitter orange tree. The flowers are collected in the morning after the night dew, and their distillation produces the essential oil, named after Princess Orsini of the Italian town of Nerola, who first used it as a fragrance in 1680. Neroli has a powerful, floral, sweet citrus scent.

Its strong effect on the nervous system is well-documented. Even during intense stress, it can provide effective relief. Additionally, it alleviates both physical and mental fatigue, uplifting mood and fostering a new, optimistic outlook.
