The Marjoram tincture is obtained by soaking the above-ground parts of marjoram in an alcoholic solution (grappa) for a period of 4-6 weeks. During this time, the active ingredients of the herb dissolve into the alcoholic solution, resulting in the tincture.
The marjoram tincture is a special extract that offers the body a variety of minerals and trace elements. Marjoram contains significant amounts of iron, potassium, calcium, and phosphorus. Additionally, it is rich in vitamins C, A, B6, and carotene. The marjoram tincture is mainly used for digestive problems, as it soothes stomach disturbances caused by indigestion. The natural drops act as a digestive aid and relieve stomach pain by relaxing the muscles and stopping persistent hiccups. Marjoram is a good sedative and analgesic for digestive system pain and neuralgias. In case of stomach ulcers, it is recommended to prefer St. John's wort oil.
The tinctures preserve all the active ingredients of the herb, are particularly easy to take, and are completely natural. They undoubtedly surpass dietary supplements in pill form, as they do not contain chemicals or preservatives and are absorbed much more effectively by the body.
Herbal tinctures are very potent, and for this reason, they should be consumed according to their instructions. The usual dosage is 0.5-1ml (approximately 10-20 drops) per day. They should not be consumed during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
The Marjoram tincture is prepared in Greece under the strictest European regulations and with the exclusive use of pure and controlled raw materials.
