Grapefruit (Citrus Paradisi) is derived from the plant known by this name. The essential oil is obtained from the cold pressing of the fruit’s peel and has a fresh, sweet, citrus aroma.

The essential oil of Grapefruit is used to reduce anxiety, combat depression, anorexia, or indigestion, fluid retention, cellulite, oily skin, nervous exhaustion, obesity, fever, and lack of concentration. It is also used as an anti-pollutant, antiseptic, disinfectant, diuretic, soothing, astringent, and tonic. It promotes optimism, self-esteem, and vitality.
