Geranium essential oil BIO comes from the well-known ornamental plant (Pelargonium Graveolens) that can be found in most Greek yards. It is usually chosen because of its durability and intense aroma. In addition to its ornamental use, Geranium also has important healing properties. Its essential oil comes from the distillation of its flowers and leaves and has a lively aroma, with a medium aromatic note.
Geranium essential oil is used in aromatherapy for emotional-hormonal balance and stress reduction. In addition, it has strong astringent, antibacterial and antimicrobial action. A few drops of essential oil can help treat various dermatological problems, such as acne, spots, oiliness, wrinkles, sores, bruises, swelling, etc.
Geranium stimulates blood circulation, lymphatic system and adrenal function. Cellulite, fluid retention, premature relaxation, health problems or menstruation due to poor circulation can be improved with frequent massages by adding a few drops of geranium to the massage oil. It is also used in shampoo to fight louse.
